The KEREN .22 CAL Suppressor is a leap forward in .22 Cal suppressor performance. The KEREN is more compact, lighter weight, and quieter than the KATAN. In our testing on a Taurus TX-22 pistol, the muzzle performance of the KEREN is 4-6 dB improved over the KATAN. That improvement is substantial. Especially considering the KATAN’s closest rivals are both longer and larger in diameter. Simply put, the KEREN does more with less.
The KEREN maintains a 5.56x45mm (5.56) rating with a strict barrel length restriction of 16 inches. The sound performance on a bolt action 5.56 is improved over the KATAN.
You will find that KEREN has a weight and length designed to enable boosterless functionality on 5.7×28mm (5.7) tilting barrel pistols. Cycling on a 5.7 pistol is possible, however, there are too many variables to guarantee this for all shooters, weapon systems, and ammunition types.
