Introduced in 1999, our Hybrid contour is a mid-weight government contour. This was our first entry aiming to improve the performance over traditional government contours. The additional weight around the chamber increases heat absorption and rigidity over conventional designs. Because of its mid-weight design, our Hybrid contour is able to handle high heat while maintaining exceptional performance – even during extreme use and high rates of fire. HEADSPACE
Headspace (the bolt to barrel fitment), must be checked for optimal performance and reliability. Proper headspace produces consistent chamber pressures and seating depths which results in increased accuracy and reliability, while reducing wear and tear on internal parts and components.
