Pinning of the gas block is a must to ensure reliability for any serious use carbine.
A drill press is recommended to drill the pin hole.
A roll pin starter punch, roll pin punch and hammer are recommended to drive the pin.
The kit includes a cobalt drill bit and a stainless steel spiral coil pin.
